Taking advantage of the sunshine!

Today has been such a nice day. I'm very thankful for the sunshine, because it was supposed to rain. We had great weather yesterday too. I'll be 16 weeks into my pregnancy tomorrow, and its going by fairly quickly. Here is a pic of me at 15 weeks
Photobucket
Pic of me today (almost 16 weeks) I think I look smaller in this one for some reason.

My morning sickness is gone for the most part, I've had a couple days in the last two weeks that I've gotten sick or had a really bad day. Well half of the day was bad, but other than not being interested in food at all, I've felt great. I've been walking and going for bike rides on days its nice out and take the girls with me in their chariot stroller when I'm babysitting. I also bought some flowers and replanted them to put on our porch and stairs, it makes the house look a little nicer even though we are doing some work to our yard and house.

This last winter hit us really hard with wind and knocked down our fence in several places, then hit us harder with tons and tons of snow, so we have to fix the damage from that too. So we are redoing our fence, fixing our roof, putting new windows in and I'm going to work on fixing our flower bed out front that was taken out by the guy who was plowing our snow. So the flowers are to distract from the chaos in our yard. I hope it helps.

I've been trying really hard to be more creative in the food department for my daughter and the girl I babysit. I've gotten a lot of ideas from pinterest and I'm going to try to document some of the meals I give my daughter so I can help anyone else that may be in a rut like I am. She is only 13 months old, so she can't eat everything yet, but we are working up to it .

Here are a couple simple ideas, some of these aren't "clean whole foods" but we are seeing what she likes and can handle for now.

Make a batch of whole wheat pancakes and freeze them for a quick breakfast later on.

My daughter loves to eat watermelon like this, it feels great on her molars that are coming in.

Subway cheese pizza was her first pizza slice by her self. She was so excited about it, she had fresh fruit too.

Natural Peanut Butter and honey sandwich, grapes, and string cheese.

Natural Peanut butter and jelly sandwich (normal jam), and grapes. We have to eat the grapes before they go bad.

My clean lunch. Sandwich, Ezekiel bread, veganaise, mustard, avacado, a little havarti, tomato, and sprouts. It would have been better with some red onion. Served with some cottage cheese.
Photobucket

We spent a lot of time outside today, and most of our time inside was spent practicing walking, she's so close to being able to walk more than 7 or so steps. Its exciting. We also went to tot swim for the first time in months which was fun, we'll have to go more once I get my swimsuit in. Well, its my bedtime, so of to bed I go. I hope you have a wonderful weekend and week.

Coffee Yay or Nay

So I was 13 weeks on Sunday, and so far I've had crazy up and downs with my morning sickness! I've been sick most of the time, then have a few great days where my medication is helping with the nausea and then I have a couple bad days again. I'm very tired of the daily guessing game!

So far I have barely been able to eat healthy, because in the beginning all I could keep down were tortilla chips and sprite. Lately if I start my day out with a Bagel and cream cheese from our health food store I'm doing really good. Its usually all I eat until dinner besides tortilla chips, even on my good days. I would normally feel bad about eating junk like that, but since I'm not eating much, at least its something. Plus I still haven't gained and have still lost a pound since the end of my 90 days of Power 90.

The saddest thing is I never know how I'm going to react to having a coffee. I love coffee and actually worked as a barista for years before I became pregnant with my daughter and just love having my one or two cups a day. I was totally able to have my cup of coffee a day when I was pregnant with Olivia, but most of the time this baby doesn't agree with it. Even on the days I feel great, like today, I buy a coffee with my bagel and then realize its just making me sick, so I have to nurse it for hours! Some days I'm lucky and can drink it like a normal human being! I love those days!

Here's a pic of the beginning of my baby bump at 13 weeks. If you compare it to my after pic from Power 90 you can totally tell I'm showing already, especially knowing I haven't gained weight yet.
Photobucket

I have been getting out and walking with Olivia and the little girl I babysit on the days I feel better, so I've been trying to be more active. Its nice knowing that I only babysit for about a month or up to a month and a half more then I'm done. I really like it when its just my daughter and me, especially since we won't have a double stroller till next month.

Other than that not too much is going on in my life. I'm doing better at keeping up with the housework now that I'm feeling better, and I'm going to attempt to make out a meal plan for the week and stick to it so we can budget better. At least on the days my husband isn't cooking dinner.

My baby is one year old today!

I haven't been on here in a long time and I'm sorry. I spent the last 6 weeks being miserable from morning sickness (getting sick all day long literally). I'm 12 weeks and 2 days pregnant now! So I haven't felt like blogging or working out for that matter. I had been given some medication for nausea that wasn't working at all, but all of a sudden started working last week, so I'm feeling normal again.

My daughter Olivia is one year old today! I am amazed how fast this last year has gone by! We had her birthday party on Sunday and can I just say that my house hasn't been this clean since Thanksgiving and Christmas!!! I deep cleaned almost everything for the party and on top of that made the cake and decorated it myself, which took a lot of time! I'm so glad I did cause it turned out perfect. Now I just have to keep up on the house work and keep my house looking nice.

I am very happy to say that I haven't gained any weight yet this pregnancy. I had gained about 4 lbs then lost 5 so I'm a pound lighter! I haven't worked out at all other than walking so far, so my goal is to be a little more active now that I'm feeling better! My husband fixed the elliptical machine so I can use that and also do some of my workout dvds. I'm hoping that 6 weeks after I've had this baby I'll either be a little lighter like I was with my daughter or be the same weight as I was when I became pregnant.

Today is going to be a fairly uneventful day. I'm the little 20 month old girl  today so I will probably take her and Olivia outside pretty soon to enjoy the sunshine and start cleaning up my yard since the snow is finally almost gone. I'm only watching one little girl now a few days a week most weeks until her mom has their next baby sometime in the next couple months and then I'll just be a stay at home mom. I'm really looking forward to it, but I'm not looking forward to being broke all the time. We'll have to figure out a budget so we can survive the high fuel bills next winter.

So for the next 6 months my blog is going to focus mainly on my pregnancy and being home with my daughter and trying to be active so I can start my weight loss where I left off after I have baby #2. Thanks everyone for following my blog!

Here are some pics that I took of Olivia's birthday party!

At the end of my 90 days!

I haven't been on here as much as I should've been the last few weeks and I'm so sorry about that. I have been working really hard and have made amazing progress! I am so happy with the amazing difference the working out and eating clean has made in the way I look and feel. I started out 238.5 lbs and a size 22 in my jeans at the beginning of the year, and now I'm comfortably fitting in my size 16 jeans I bought a little while ago and wearing some shirts that I bought in the normal section and not plus size anymore I am also down 19.5 lbs to 219 lbs!! I love it!

So I want to explain what exactly has been going on with me the last 3 weeks. I was all of a sudden unmotivated, tired, and eating cereal almost by the boxful! A week ago I found out that we are expecting Baby #2. I'm only 5 weeks and 5 days pregnant at this point, but it was a complete surprise. We were wanting another baby, but I was taking some time to get the weight off first LOL. At least I got the 19.5 lbs off before hand.

What happens next for me?? I'm going to see if I'm going to be as sick as I was with my daughter. I threw up about 10 to 20 times a day from 8 weeks to 7 months, so I'm not counting on this pregnancy to be any different, but if I'm lucky and feel better this time I'm going to be a lot more active and even if I'm sick I'm going to make an effort to walk and workout a little on the days I'm not feeling as bad. I'm going to keep blogging, I'll try to blog about once a week or more if I can also. So if you want to know how my weight gain, healthy eating and working out are going please keep reading my blog! You guys keep me motivated!!!

I'm very excited about our new addition to our family and I'm also very glad that I did Power 90 and Zumba and lost some weight before I have baby #2! Here is my before and after pic from my 90 days! Also I'm putting the fun pic I took of Olivia as my announcement for facebook!

Lots of craziness!

Here it is day 82, and I've lost 19 lbs so far! I haven't been able to post lately cause I had so much going on. I was sick, then my baby was sick, and lots of other stuff had me busy till late enough that I went to bed instead of posting on here, so I apologize for that. But I'm back and I'm going to try to be on here more often!

I have been doing power 90 and zumba, and I'm going to take a break from Zumba for awhile and just focus on some of the beach body programs instead. I am going to finish up my 90 days doing power 90 and then do some P90X workouts 3 to 5 times a week along with walking and using our elliptical once we fix it. I'm going to keep going with my weight loss, but I'm going to wait and do Insanity later on.

I went to Zumba for the last time for awhile last night and used the last punch on my card. It was an amazing workout, but I was still a little under the weather, but I'm glad I went!

Tonight I'm going to do some power 90, I need to look and see if its the cardio or strength tonight lol. I'm a bit of a space cadet these days!

I did get my heart rate monitor in and I love it, I'll post a pic of the box and you can find it on amazon, but if you are interested in your heart rate and how many calories you are burning during a workout I recommend this one!

Our dinner last night, grilled chicken breast, steamed broccoli for Olivia, roasted veggies, and brown rice!

Day 73

Sorry I haven't blogged every single day, my husband was gone on a quick trip to Anchorage from 4am to 8pm last night, so I didn't do any workouts other than a walk with my daughter and did some Zumba on the wii yesterday.

Today I was busy for sure!! I woke up early around 6 am and got ready to go for a jog. I started doing the couch to 5k running program again, which I loved doing in the past. I love the fact that I'm in better shape this time around so I could run a little faster. Then I had downloaded some Zumba music that I know we had done in class and did 3 routines while the girls crawled around and the little girl I watch danced with me a little.

I went to Zumba tonight and finally got my heart rate monitor to work other than my bra or something got in the way a few times, so I know I burned about 1100 calories during the class. Then I did ab ripper 200 and about 1/2 of my power 90 sculpt workout, cause for some reason its not so easy on my wrists, so I did the parts of the workout I could. I have some carpal tunnel in my wrists from being a Barista for years, so for some reason some of the workouts are making it come back. So I'm just doing what I can now.

As far as diet goes I did really well all day, but I could've eaten a little less at lunch time. I don't have any pics today cause I took a ton of pics of my daughter today instead LOL.

My weekend and day 71!

This weekend was pretty busy with going to church and lots of cleaning around my house! I didn't do much working out, but I did Power 90 two of the days and went for a walk the last few days with my daughter to make sure she got a late nap.

Can I just say I'm loving the time change! Olivia was going to bed at 6pm and waking up around 5am I had been trying to get her to go to bed later and wake up later, but it wasn't working. Daylight savings time fixed it for me! Now she goes to bed at 7pm or 7:30pm and wakes up around 6 or 6:30! Now starting tomorrow I'm going to wake up around 5am and have a small snack and get an extra workout in. Its actually possible now!

I went to Zumba tonight and I'm not doing any extra workout tonight, cause I'm planning on doing extra in the morning. I'm glad that I did get some cleaning done around here, cause my house was a disaster!!!

Well I hope you all had a good weekend and I'll catch you all tomorrow night!

Dinner from Friday. Pan cooked lemon pepper Tilapia and broccoli. We had brown rice also, but it wasn't done yet when I ate my dinner.

Day 67

It finally feels like something has really clicked and I'm on a roll now and no one can stand in my way! I know I only have 23 days left doing the power 90 with some supplemental workouts, but I still have a long ways to go till I get to my goal weight, and I can't wait to get there. I'm ready to put in the hard work.

The diet is the hardest because my daughter is eating table food now, and can't eat everything I eat yet, so I'm making different things for her so I do eat a little more than I should each day, and also my husband isn't eating completely clean and working out yet, so some of the things he cooks on occasion aren't always the best either. So I've been trying a lot harder lately to make sure I don't eat the food my daughter and the other girl I watch don't eat. No more gold fish crackers and grilled cheese for me. So far I'm doing well.

Today was a great day! I was in a great mood and got to sleep in a little while my hubby watched Olivia, and I got a lot done around the house. My daughter started waving today too, which is just amazing to me! You have no idea how moments like that are going to feel until you have your own kid. I didn't believe that until I had my own.

I went to zumba, and after I got home I did some ab workouts and a few push-ups. I'm going to do the circuit/sculpt workout for power 90 tomorrow and the cardio also. I had to take it a little easy cause my left wrist has been acting up when I do some of the circuit workouts.

I weighed in again this morning, cause I was too curious to wait till next week, and I had lost another half pound, so I'm down 15.5 lbs total now. I'm so glad I'm seeing more progress. Well I need to get in the shower and go to bed, I want to try to be asleep by 10 instead of 11 tonight.

My lunch, a tuna melt made with canned tuna packed in water, fresh spinach leaves, veganaise, mustard, chopped up jarred jalepenos, chopped red onion, with american cheese on Ezekiel bread.
Photobucket

Dinner was a salad and a beef pot roast with potatoes. We never eat white potatoes, but we decided it was ok since it had been months. I go for the pieces with less fat or cut the fat off.

Day 66 a little more Insanity!

Today was a great day. I  ate really well all day and even avoided the vanilla ice cream my husband had this evening! I wasn't even tempted, so that was awesome. I didn't snack on the kids leftovers, which I have a hard time with normally and I weighed in this morning and have lost another pound so I'm down 15 lbs now! I'm so glad I keep seeing results! I know I can do this long term, I just need to stay focused on my goals and the reasons I'm doing this in the first place.

I went for a walk with my daughter today because it was gorgeous out and I needed to take advantage of the sunshine while its here! I also got some great cuddle time with her when she was napping. Something woke her up when she was in her crib, and for the first time in months (since we did sleep training) she fell back to sleep in my arms and I got to snuggle with her. She always sleeps in her crib, so I really missed that!

After dinner I watched some Grey's Anatomy on Netflix and then went down to the garage and tried the Insanity workout again! I love it!! Its so hard and I was pouring sweat and I can't do everything, but thats what  I love about it! After I finish doing power 90 I really leaning towards doing Insanity next! After my shower my hubby and I watched the new Adam Sandler movie, which was pretty funny, and relaxed a bit.

I love days that are uneventful but I still get my workouts in and have time with my husband and my daughter. It couldn't get any better than that.

A pic of me with Olivia napping!
Photobucket

The roasted chicken I made for dinner. Olive oil, rosemary, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper and an half an onion stuffed in the chicken. 350 degrees for an hour and a half. The things that make the biggest difference with roasted chicken is to pull the skin away from the breast and get the olive oil under the skin. It makes it way more tender. Also rub in the spices after you rub in the olive oil!

My dinner I shared with my daughter. Chicken, brown rice, steamed carrots.

Day 65 and back on track!

All right, I'm officially out of my slump! I woke up this morning on a mission! When my daughter went back to sleep around 7am I did P90X cardio X cause I forgot that the power 90 dvd was still upstairs. I made a salad and made sure I had lots of healthy snacks ready to go for the next couple days, and made sure I didn't make enough at breakfast for Olivia and the little girl I watch that I would end up eating some too.

I had a friend over to visit and that was pretty nice. She is my husband's best friends girl friend and her baby daughter, and I hope I wasn't too boring during the visit! We did get out of the house and to the grocery store which was nice considering on a normal week day I don't get to see anything but the inside of my house!

My daughter, who is getting 6 teeth in at the same time has been a nightmare from time to time the last couple weeks. She's a really happy baby most of the time, but she definitely is having more "moments" lately. I'm also amazed by how fast she is growing up! She will be 10 months old fairly soon, and I keep wondering where my tiny baby went. She is the most adorable thing ever, she's just getting so big!

My hubby made the veggies and rice to go with the chicken breast I made for dinner, and he made the yummy asparagus stir fry again. Then I went to zumba class after putting Olivia to bed and leaving Brandon at home with her. I felt so good in class. For the first time I felt smaller looking in the mirror! I did a lot better doing the routines than ever before, and it has to be that I have way more confidence than I did when I started going last month. After class I came home and did my power 90 circuit/sculpt workout! I feel so good knowing how much I accomplished today! Hopefully tomorrow will be as productive! I'm supposed to weigh in at home and for the Healthier Competition tomorrow or Thursday so I'm trying to get my butt in gear.

Here's a pic of my after workout snack and one of my favorites! Honey crisp apple and PB2!!

Day 64

I need to apologize for not being on here the last few days. I tend to not blog on the weekends, and I really need to. Being on here every evening keeps me accountable and pushes me more. I also need to apologize for the funk I've been in the last 4 or 5 days. For some reason the one person commenting on my progress photos saying they couldn't see a difference really hurt! I just felt awful, like all my hard work wasn't paying off. I know, I know, I've lost weight, and I've gone down almost 6 pant sizes, but still, its hard hearing that. I need to grow a harder shell and not listen to things like that. Self esteem is one of those things I'm trying to build along with muscles :)

Well I'm back now, and I'm really going to push myself now that I've had time to sulk and get over the one bad review LOL. Thanks to my husband, instead of going to bed at 7pm I went down to the garage and did an Insanity workout. It was crazy hard, but I made it through 30 minutes before my legs and butt felt like they were going to fall off! I needed that to kick my ass back in gear. Tomorrow I am going to Zumba and either during the day or after the class I'm going to do my circuit workout. I'm going to try to do an hour and a half a day with one rest day a week until the end of my 90 days. I'm hopefully going to add in some P90X and some Insanity so I can decide which of the two I'm going to do after I'm done with power 90.

I also need to stop snacking on gold fish crackers and whatever else I have for the kids. I need to remember I'm stronger than the crackers, and not give into temptation. I also talked to my hubby and we are going to make sure we only have one cheat meal a week and plan which day its going to be on. Basically I need to do what I was doing in the beginning and have been slacking on.

So the pics I'm posting I found on pinterest and the original sites are linked from my workout board or my I will fit in this someday board. They are more for my own motivation, and for me to remember why I started doing this in the first place! I need to focus on my goals and what I've accomplished so far! My name on pinterest is Laura Kilian :)

This is one of my favorite ones!

Day 61

As I begin my last month of Power 90 I actually managed to workout this morning when my daughter took a nap. I was determined to do it. I even stayed up last night a little longer to make sure I cleaned the kitchen a little more than normal so I wouldn't have to do anything in the morning. I did my cardio workout and I can almost make it through all four sets of the jumping jacks/running/run lunges. I love that I can push myself a little further every time.

I ate really well all day until I started making the frosting for my husbands birthday cake for his "party" tomorrow. I made the chocolate gonache first for the filling and the top and it was delicious. I had never made a real birthday cake before, like an actual decorated cake. I had also never made gonache or buttercream frosting either. I had made a double fudge chocolate cake yesterday, two big layers. In the middle is the gonache, and the decorated part is buttercream and there is a little gonache on top too. It looks really good. I couldn't help but taste the frosting. I'm lucky I had a friend that I could borrow the decorating supplies from.  I'll put a pic of the cake on here when I'm done.

I was going to do the circuit workout tonight, but the cake took longer than I thought it would. I'm going to try to do another workout while Olivia is sleeping and do the circuit workout in the evening tomorrow after the birthday dinner.

I posted my progress pics on facebook last night, and someone I didn't know (a friend of a friend I guess) wrote on my pic that they couldn't see a difference!! It really shouldn't bother me that much since I know there is a difference, but still I can't help but feel a little frustrated. So needless to say I've decided I'm going to make the last month really count and do as much as I possibly can to get these pounds and inches off!! I'm not going to be done at the end of my 90 days of power 90! This is only the beginning, but I want to know that I gave it my all every time I do one of these programs!!

Day 60! Progress Pic day!

I was super excited to weigh in this morning since I hadn't weighed myself in a week, but I stepped on the scale and I weigh the same as I did last week! Oh well, my clothes are loser and I'm still 14 lbs lighter than I was when I started. I also had to go weigh in for the Healthier You contest this morning and by their scale I lost 1/2 a pound. So, thats good.

Today I had all four girls, and we did some fun projects. One was a flower project I printed a free stencil off that I found online, and the other was just a Macaroni project I kind of just made up LOL. My daughter was a terror today, no matter how many times you told her no and took her away from the things she isn't allowed to get into, she kept going back. I got a good workout chasing her around today.

I still wish I could get a workout in before she gets up but I'm not a morning person, so waking up at 4:30 to make sure I can workout in case she wakes up at 5:30 is never going to happen! I love that her going to bed early gives me time to workout and do things at night, but waking up that early makes it hard for me to do more exercise during the day.

I did go to Zumba tonight. I had fun, but for some reason it seems like I'm running out of steam. I know I need a couple more hours of sleep, and working out in the morning would help so I wouldn't be up so late doing that then blogging about it. I'll have to add that to my list of to dos. Get more sleep!!! I'm going to make sure to workout after Olivia goes back to sleep in the morning (unless she doesn't), so I can get my circuit workout done in the evening and the cardio done in the morning. If I can't do it when she is napping I'm going to do it while she is awake and just workout in the living room with the girls.

All right guys, here are my progress pics from Day 1, Day 30 and today Day 60! I'm going to workout twice as hard to make sure my Day 90 pics are awesome :)

Day 59

I'm so anxious to take my progress pics tomorrrow!! Can you believe I've made it through 2/3 of the program. I may have missed a couple Power 90 workouts, but I have pretty much have done a workout pretty much 6 days a week if not two the whole time. I'm excited. I haven't weighed in since last Wednesday, so when I weigh in tomorrow I'm hoping to have lost a pound or two, but we'll see. I know I'm still losing fat even if the scale doesn't tell me so.

So today I had all four girls again. The 3 I sit and my own. The two older girls that are siblings liked me until I didn't have apples for their snack LOL. I found out that they were told by their mom that an apple a day keeps the doctor away, so they insist on two apples a day now! HAHA! So cute! I know now not to tell Olivia that until she's old enough to understand that it doesn't keep the doctor away. :) I'm also getting very low on horse and Rapunzel pictures for the girls to color, because they always ask for those. So the last few Rapunzel pictures are on lock down or at least down to one a day till we can order another couple coloring books from amazon.

I really wanted to take the other little girl and Olivia out for a walk again today, but they both needed a nap when the other two went home so I just vegged out and kept watching Anne of Green Gables. I hung out with the girls and got them dinner when they woke up and got Olivia to bed.

Then after an hour of digesting, I did both Power 90 workouts. I did the cardio and the sweat (circuit) workouts and the ab ripper 200! I love working out so hard I have sweat pouring off of me! I just know that I'm working hard enough.

Well guys I'll be on here tomorrow night with some new progress pics after zumba and some power 90 tomorrow!

My after workout snack tonight. Carrots and hummus.

Day 58

Today was the most beautiful day! The sun was out and I wax so glad after babysitting all day I was able to get out in the sunshine.

I'm trying out posting from my iPod, so I'm sorry if there are more errors than normal and I won't have any pics this time.

I ate well all day except for the chips I had with the subway my hubby brought home for lunch today. I hadn't had chips in months! Luckily I had a couple little scavengers stealing chips from me lol. One of the best things about kids is they help control portion size! I always have to share my food with someone!

I went to zumba tonight and my friend didn't go but I'm hoping she will come Thursday! Im going to do my power 90 workouts tomorrow and get back on track with them.

Well I'm off to bed a little earlier than normal tonight :)

Day 57!

For a Monday today was awesome! I had been feeling down about the numbers on the scale not going down fast enough and had a hard time seeing the I was still losing inches and losing fat while gaining muscle. Today I snapped out of it finally! I didn't weigh in or anything, but a bunch of stuff I had ordered came in the mail today and it made me so happy. I had ordered XL workout pants from the regular clothes at Old Navy, not plus size, an XL shirt, not plus size, and a pair of size 16 jeans. I was hopeful that I would fit in the jeans in like 30 days, but to my surprise I tried on the shirt and workout pants which fit perfectly, then the jeans and as I pulled them all the way up I was thinking there is no way they are going to button, and even though they were way too tight, I managed to zip them and button them without a fight! I couldn't believe it. I'm pretty sure I haven't fit in a size 16 in about 8 years give or take a year. I was ecstatic! I'm still excited to weigh in on Wednesday or Thursday, but nothing beats knowing that I've almost gone down 6 pant sizes!

I went to Zumba tonight, but didn't do my Power 90 cardio. I'm going to try to make myself do both tomorrow, but I may end up just doing the Circuit since I'm going to Zumba again tomorrow night. A friend of mine wants to go, and she made me promise to make her go! I'm glad she's going to try it.

I did great with my clean eating today, my hubby made an amazing dinner on the grill again, and I made one of the best wraps for lunch today. I'm still trying to come up with new ideas for meals so I can share them with all of you, but I am horrible at being creative when it comes to food. Just ask my husband LOL.

Tomorrow is going to be a busy day. I have the other 2 girls again, so I'll have 4 under 4 tomorrow! Yikes!

My breakfast of Shakeology with PB2, coconut milk, and ice!

Lunch was a Sprouted wrap with leftover baked chicken breast, spinach, hummus, red onion, red bell pepper, and feta. Delicious.

The weekend! Day 54, 55, and 56!

The last three days I've been slacking on my blog and a little on my workouts, and on my clean eating. I ate well all day  Friday until I met up with a friend for coffee and decided to have a cheat meal, then that night I went to Zumba since it was free Friday and didn't have to pay or punch my card. I had totally forgotten that Saturday I was going to church and was making a cake and planned on having my cheat meal there at the potluck afterwards. Luckily for me all of the food everyone cooked was pretty healthy, it was the two pieces of cake that ended up as my cheat.

I planned on going snowshoeing with the Zumba group this morning, but just as my hubby had said it would, it was dumping snow on us this morning and continuing in my lack of motivation I didn't want to clean the snow off my car to go. I should've gone, I had a sitter lined up and everything, but mostly I'm terrified of going snowshoeing with those girls. I'm not sure if I can even keep up. Zumba class is totally different, out snowshoeing I could slow them down. I'll get over it eventually. Maybe next Sunday I'll get off my butt and go. I ate very well today, and I just got done doing my power 90 circuit workout. I did 35 push ups without stopping, and about 70 total during the workout! Its awesome how far I've come.

I started out weighing 238.5 lbs and wearing a size 22 in jeans. Now I'm around 224.0 lbs (haven't weighed in since wednesday) and my size 18 jeans fit just right and are getting looser every day. I even got some hand me down size 16 pants from a friend of mine, and I ordered the next size down of my workout pants and a pair of 16 jeans too. I bought my workout pants less than a month ago, and they are so loose that I can only wear them for one workout, otherwise they get so loose they fall off! Fitting in clothes and shirts that I couldn't even pull over my hips or my belly before make me so proud of the hard work I've done. I may have a day or two that I am in a funk and don't workout or do poorly with my eating, but I move on and keep pushing forward. I plan on getting to my goal weight this time! No matter how long it takes. I want to eat clean and be fit for life!!

Out my back door, my husband just snow blowed the trail the last snowfall, and the snow was almost 3 feet high from just from today's snow. My chihuahua couldn't even go all the way out till our big dog made a path.

Day 52 and 53

Day 52

I weighed in yesterday and found that I've lost 14.5 lbs now!!! I started at 238.5, and I'm at 224.0 now!  I was so excited to see that!

I didn't plan on taking the day off from working out, but I ended up  watching a movie with my hubby again. I did really well with my diet all day until he brought out the girl scout cookies again. I only had 5, and ate some plain popcorn while we watched the movie.

Day 53

I slept in a little today, I had my alarm set to wake up and at least have my Shakeology at 5 am before my daughter woke up, but of course I woke up and then at 5:20 my daughter woke up, so I had my Shakeology and went back to bed once my hubby was up. For some reason I have been so tired all day today! I woke up tired, I went to Zumba and felt like I was dragging the whole time, and came home and I wanted to to do my circuit workout, but I seriously have no energy at all right now! So I'm definitely going to do both the circuit and the cardio tomorrow and catch back up again. I think I'm tired cause its my time of the month, (sorry if thats TMI) I really don't know what else it could be. So early to bed tonight and early to rise in the morning. I will workout in the morning even if its in the living room with my daughter hanging out watching me :)

Dinner last night was Moose Steak (very lean) salad with Annie's dressing, and some pesto pearled couscous. My hubby made dinner again.

The wrap I ate for lunch yesterday. Ezekiel wrap, natural turkey slices (3 of them) hummus, a tiny bit of natural cheddar, and romaine lettuce. It was really good, I was kind of surprised that I liked it LOL cause I had just thrown it together.

Day 51 The last place you would want to run into someone...

Day 51 and I think I'm getting my second wind so I can finish the last half of my 90 days strong!! I ate really well today, stayed away from the girl scout cookies, gave the chocolate I got in a package today to my hubby, and did two workouts.

Even though my daughter woke up an hour later than usual, I went back to bed till 8:30ish and let my hubby watch her since I never get to sleep in. It was glorious! Tomorrow I have to workout or go for a walk or snow shoe in the morning since I'm not going to Zumba tomorrow night, we'll see what I actually end up doing.

I went to Zumba tonight and stood in the middle in the front, and it made me work even harder, which makes me love standing up there, but half way through the first song I see a couple people walk in and realize one of them is a friend of mine from school growing up here that I haven't seen in like 6 or 7 years at least! If that doesn't make you feel self conscious I don't know what will. Needless to say I missed a few steps during the next song, then got over it LOL. Afterwards we were going into give each other a hug and I said she probably wouldn't want to hug me cause I'm dripping sweat. So it was one of those fake hugs where you don't touch the other person :) It was awesome to see her, but man, why does it have to be when I'm in a tank top and workout pants, looking super duper chunky, and sweating all over the place? Oh well. Just my luck!

After class I came home and did my circuit workout. It was hard cause I was pretty warn out after that Zumba class, but I made it through. Now I just have to take a relaxing shower and go to bed! I can hear my pillow calling me!

Here's a pic of me doing my decline push-ups for Power 90 Circuit Phase 3-4

Lunch was a wrap with a Ezekiel Tortilla, left over roasted chicken, lettuce, tomato, a little sharp cheddar cheese, and some salsa. It was really good.

My husband made dinner. It was a Korean Bagogi Beef (not sure of the spelling) over brown rice. It was super good!!!
